Welcome to the Six Keys to good writing! Those who finish this six-week structured writing program will find it well worth the time invested. The program is designed to improve basic writing skills and eliminate many beginner errors. You do not, however, have to be a beginner to benefit. Many experienced writers may see themselves in these exercises and solve riddles that have adversely affected their writing (and their acceptance rate). Editors do NOT want to see:

• Poor grammar
• Run-on sentences
• Wandering POVs
• Inane dialogue
• Data dumps
• Present tense
• Stories without plots or plots without resolution

The Keys are designed to help you overcome some of the most basic writing flaws of all. To participate, you must be a member of the Other Worlds Writers' Workshop. Go here to join.
