Suggestions and reviews for new books are always welcomed.

The main floor of the Bookstore is dedicated to books on writing fantasy and science fiction, and books to help you put your worlds together. Specialty alcoves can supply you with basic writing and language reference, special technical books, and even some of those novels you saw on the genres pages.

HOW TO USE THE BOOKSTORE: We are an Amazon associate, which means that they handle the warehousing, shipping, billing, mass buying power, etc. We provide reviews and links for the specialty market of you, the SF writer. In return, we receive a small commission that supports the workshop, but does not increase the price to you. In order for our site to be credited with the sale, you tap on the title. This takes you to its page at Amazon. You can put one book "in your shopping basket", use your Back button to come back here, go down the list, find another goody, and jump back to Amazon to add another book, etc. You finish your shopping by giving your credit or debit card number over at Amazon. At any time you can remove any book or cancel the whole business.

At the books we have linked to Amazon, you will note that we give a cover price. "Or less" means that last time we checked, Amazon was discounting the book. For example, they often can give 30% off Writer's Digest Books and ship immediately by Priority Mail -- quite an improvement over joining the WDB book club! You will see the very latest price and shipping time at the actual Amazon page when you jump over.
